Musicals
Gregory Maguire wrote the novel Wicked that was an artistic re-imagining of the stories and colourful characters of the original 'Wonderful Wizard of Oz'. With such excellent characters to work with, Wicked was sure to be an extremely well-received novel, and so it proved.
The stage version of Wicked follows the novel's plotline faithfully, telling the intriguing and unlikely story of two girls who strike up a friendship after meeting as sorcery students. Undertaking extraordinary journeys and adventures throughout the land of Oz, the two finally 'graduate' as Gilda The Good and The Wicked Witch of the West.
Unforgettable, magical, enchanting and wickedly funny, Wicked is a thrill-a-minute rollercoaster ride, filled with excellent music, wonderful dance routines and a fabulous storyline that will keep audiences of all ages enthralled throughout.
