The River Lounge

The River Lounge offers modern international cuisine located on St. Katharine's Way. As the name reveals, the River Lounge presents a fantastic view of St Katharine's Dock and the River Thames. The restaurant is a favourite among locals and delights tourists with its outstanding dishes.

All dishes are prepared with the freshest and finest ingredients available. With traditional European recipes and strong influences from Asian cuisine, the River Lounge creates innovative and exciting meals for all to enjoy. The à la carte menu includes dishes such as pan-fried sea bass with gnocchi, mange toutes and pear compote, lamb chops with potato puree and barbecue sauce and wild mushrooms papardelles served with home-made pesto. Ideal to top off the meal are the many exquisite desserts like blood orange pannacotta served with orange segments and orange coulis and apple, mango and lychee crumble. The dishes are served at a reasonable price and come in generous portions. The friendly and attentive waiting staff will be happy to recommend a wine from the list that will both suit your dish and your taste.

The River Lounge features a spacious dining room with a wide window front delivering an excellent view of the Thames and illuminating the room with natural light at the same time. With chocolate brown floors and black furniture, the restaurant mediates a warm and cosy atmosphere. Three terraces allow al fresco dining in the warm summer months and an even better view of the famous river.
