Established in 1757, the Simpson's Tavern is an institution located on Ball Court, Cornhill in the City of London. A firm favourite among locals, the restaurant serves great British dishes cooked to perfection as well as fantastic drinks. The venue further features two bars ideal for a drink and a light snack.
Based on traditional British recipes, the meals offered at Simpson's Tavern are hearty and prepared with high quality seasonal ingredients. With three to four daily specials, the restaurant ensures variety from the à la carte menu which includes dishes such as roasted field mushrooms served with vegetables and stilton sauce, home-made steak and kidney pie and oven-baked Scotch salmon. The restaurant is also famous for its nice desserts including a selection of homemade puddings and stewed cheese. All dishes come in generous portions and are offered at a reasonable price.
