Situated on Lavender Hill in the London area is the charming restaurant Enak Enak owned by Nancy Lam. Enak Enak are the Indonesian words for yummie yummie; and yummie it is. Nancy offers a variety of Indonesian and Far Eastern dishes in the restaurant that she has owned for almost two decades now. Since its big refurbishment in 2004, Enak Enak can accommodate up to 50 guests and mediates a smart and welcoming air.
In her restaurant, Nancy Lam offers healthy and homely dishes based on recipes which have been in her family for generations. All dishes are freshly prepared and are meant to be enjoyed with friends and family. The menu includes dishes such as barbecued prawns, her renowned chicken satay and the home-made sorbet which is served with the lovely desserts offered. All dishes are extraordinarily delicious and served at a good price. But the food does not only taste well, it also provides a home-like feeling.
The interior of the restaurant is designed to make the guests comfortable and make them feel at home as well. No one is rushed or in a hurry. This is a restaurant to sit down and enjoy a meal, a drink or just the sheer company of like-minded people. Enak Enak is open from Monday to Saturday 17:30 - 22:30 and on Sundays for an exotic Sunday lunch with unique flavours from the Far East.
