Vegetarian and Vegan
Set in London's pretty Primrose Hill, Manna is a veggie and vegan's heaven, and is the UK's oldest restaurant of its kind.
There aren't many other places in London where you can enjoy basil and cashew cheese croquettes, crisped ravioli filled with mushroom & walnut pate, or spiced jerk tofu like you can here.
Take a friend and share a mezze meal - a selection of any three starters - or nachos, each doubling up as good substitutes for a main meal. Or, if you don't feel like sharing, you can go solo and opt for the gorgeous enchilada casserole or even build your own meal if your'e feeling creative; choose from any four starters and the chefs will do the rest, presenting it in the typical, beautiful Manna way.
Desserts are works of art especially their ice-cream selection and cakes which are full of colour and flavour. And, with prices ranging between £7 and £8 per dessert, you'd be mad to miss this bargain. Elsewhere, prices are reflected in the starters menu whereas, for mains, they increase to around £14 per plate.
Manna simply oozes with pleasantries, courtesies and politness; it's crisp, clean and simplistic, offering the freshest, healthiest food which won't leave you feeling bloated afterwards. Speaking of 'afterwards', go and check out the nearby parkland when you're done eating - it's another one of London's beautiful areas of green space.
Opening times: Lunch: Weekends: 12:00 - 15:00, dinner: Tuesday - Sunday: 18:30 - 22:30
