Vegetarian and Vegan
With dishes whose components are simple, tasty, and don't fight each other for attention while you masticate, Itadaki Zen's combo of Japanese/vegan cuisine is clean and extremely healthy.
There's a broad range of food on offer with different menu styles - set menus; dinner courses consisting of starters, mains, sushi, and desserts; and main solos sushi dishes leaving other foods available as general main course options.
Coming in at close to £10, each main course is as nutritious as it is filling. Try either the Neba-Neba-don (where Neba-Neba translates as 'sticky') for a dish of rice, sliced radish and seaweed; or the Kaidomen which has firey noodles with seaweeds, peanuts and seseme oil. You might not be able to feel the health benefits coursing through your body with every chew and swallow, but they're there. For example, with every dish of Kaidomen, your blood will be purified, while Neba-Neba-don increases the efficiency of your immune system.
These qualities are something else which Itadaki Zen prides itself on. So get yourself down there, bring some friends - whether they're local or visiting - all of you will talk about it for days afterwards.
