The Four O Nine serves modern French and modern European cuisine on Landor Road discreetly hidden away from the noise of Clapham High Street. With a fantastic menu created by Head Chef Andre Dupin, a professional and friendly waiting staff serving the guests in a warm and inviting setting, the Four o Nine has built a wide clientele of regulars from the neighbourhood as well as from London.
The Head Chef designs interesting and delicious meals. Together with his kitchen team, Dupin uses only the quality ingredients and seasonal produce. Four O Nine's à la carte menu includes starters such as butternut squash soup with basil pesto; grilled mackerel salad with mustard crème fraiche; crispy pancetta and mains like herb stuffed coquelet with fondant potato, braised celery and meat juices; and crisp fillet of sea bass with olive oil mash. The meals are best topped off with one of their fabulous hot chocolate and walnut brownies with vanilla ice-cream or another one of their tasty desserts. Complement the meal with one of their excellent wines from the wine list presented over 75 international wines hand selected by an award-winning sommelier.
The private entrance to the Four O Nine gives many guests a feeling of exclusivity and privacy. The small green door leads guests to the warm and welcoming dining room that features earthly colours and comfy seating accommodations. The relaxed and informal atmosphere allows guests to kick back and enjoy their meals. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 18:00 - 22:30 and on Sunday 12:00 - 14:00.
