Royal China Club
London
Opened in 2004, the Royal China Club on Baker Street is the largest of all the Royal China restaurants in London. The others are located at Canary Wharf, Fulham, Queensway and Harrow-on-the-Hill. It can seat up to 170 guests and a partition can be used to create private dining areas for up to 13 people.
The interior of the Baker Street restaurant is described as 'signature Chinese' with an emphasis on large wall paintings and silk table decorations. The restaurant has one large open-plan dining area, where diners can enjoy these authentic surroundings.
The menu is full of 'Hong Kong' inspired Chinese delights, with the most popular dish being the crispy duck with pancakes, spring onions and cucumber. The chef's signature dishes are the pan-fried stuffed eggplant with minced shrimp in black bean sauce, sautéed chicken hot pot and steamed Icelandic cod.
