Cah Chi
London
With two branches across London, Cah Chi serves up truly authentic Korean dishes. Korean barbeque is its speciality and so each table is equipped with its own hotplate, making for pretty exciting dining and a great group night out. The chain is aimed at Korean diners and as a result you can expect to see some rather quirky cuisine, like the raw, fermented skate wing, or the yuk-hoi dol-sot bap, where raw beef, rice and pickles are served in a sizzling bowl which cooks it on contact. Despite this, however, they welcome locals too and each night Cah Chi is packed to the rafters with trendy young professionals looking for alternative, healthy eats.
Recommended and popular dishes include the Man-du soup made of a pork and vegetable broth or the O-jinh-o Dup-bab of fried calamari and vegetables in a spicy sauce. Take a look at the full (and rather extensive) menu for all the options.
Cah Chi is a cash-only restaurant, but with it's affordable prices you won't need a bulging wallet. In addition to this, they let you bring your own wine for a minimal charge of £2.50 per bottle. What could be better?
